This service is provided on the understanding that no blame or claim for loss or damage personal or otherwise can be placed or made against Deathpenny or its representatives. Any disputes are to be settled between the person placing the advert and the person expressing an interest in that advert. Deathpenny and its representatives will take no part in the resolution of any dispute arising from the use of this service. Use of this service means you are in full agreement with this disclaimer. Deathpenny reserves the right to remove any listing that breaches these terms and conditions, or, we deem unsuitable for this listing venue, or in breach of fairness (deemed by us, and/or regarding multiple listings) regarding use of the website. No personal information is passed to us except the information you provide, the only information gathered by Deathpenny is your computer/device IP address, this is for reasons of security and any breach of the terms and conditions regarding listing inappropriate material will result in your IP address being forwarded to any body authorised to prevent anything illegal being carried out on your part.
Duplicated names
In the event of two identical names being listed, the person who placed their advert first will have first refusal. A number indicating the quantity required follows duplicated names.
Duration
All adverts will remain posted on this site until the contracted period ends. Please check back regularly for times available as these may change due to demand for the service. A guide for the times and prices are:
Wanted Memorial Plaques - 3 to 12 months (dependent on fee paid)
Wanted Medals/Militaria - 3 to 12 Months (dependent on fee paid)
For Sale Plaques/Medals/Militaria - 10 days
Should any advert you place on Death Penny not be fulfilled for the full duration, for whatever reason, you will be given an advert of equivalent length, as no cash refund can be given, only advertising time will be given.
Advert for sale with your website advert on may be liable for an increase in these costs, you can find details of these costs via your control panel.
If you complete a transaction successfully or fulfil your requirements elsewhere, please make changes in your control panel to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on the website.
Errors
Should an error be made when placing your advert you may change certain aspect of the advert in your control panel, but should you require changes that are not editable via the control panel please contact us and we will correct it as soon as possible. Also, if you find any broken or misdirected links on this site please let us know. Death Penny is not responsible for the content of other websites linked to via listed items or on-site adverts.
Fees
All standard listings are £1 no hidden costs. Variations on cost is dependant upon website advert and time listed.

Wanted Memorial Plaques Medals/Militaria - intervals of 3 months.
For Sale Memorial Plaques/Medals/Militaria - intervals of 10 days.
Surname Only and Regiment/Town etc adverts are £3 for 3 months i.e. those that are non-person specific. Due to the greater potential response.
Dealer/trade are still able to list as per individuals at £1 provided no link is present.
Advertising space is available within the site for those wishing to have a permanent advert.
A cap of £10 will be placed upon your account and this balance must be paid before any more adverts can be placed on the website.
In the unlikely event of server downtime it may mean that your advert does not appear on the website for the full term stated. If you wish to regain the time of the downtime/maintenence, you are completely entitled to do so. You may claim this time by contacting us here stating the item ID number, your account username, date advert placed and downtime/unavailability of the item, this will allow us to increase/extend your advert for the time loss.

Any name adverts (e.g. SMITH, any name) shall be charged at £3 per 3 monthly period due to the greater potential response, however, someone who advertises for a specific name (e.g. SMITH, John) will have first refusal. Payment Payment can be made with a credit via PayPal using the link on this website (accessed via your control panel under 'My Account' section, here). Alternatively, if you wish to pay by cheque please contact us.
Replying to an advert
When you see an advert that interests you click on the link and send a message to the advertiser to which their responsibility to reply. Wanted adverts Memorial plaques are listed alphabetically by surname.
Photographs
No photographs are listed on Deathpenny and advertisers/respondents can email these to further illustrate items, and requests for images can be made in the contact form to the advertiser.
